

John Cianca is committed to sharing his passion for health and wellness, granting him success as a Fitness Professional in NYC and a reputation of bringing people together through fitness.
John was born and raised with his younger sibling in Miami, Florida by parents who emigrated from Panama. Starting at the age of 5, he trained and competed in Taekwondo for ten years, and earned a second degree Black Belt in 1997. Taekwondo taught him valuable life-long lessons of both discipline and accountability. Those qualities became the pillars by which John teaches and trains his clients today. That dedication and motivation are how he helps clients realize and pursue their dreams of becoming the best version of themselves as possible.
John decided to turn his love for fitness into a career by enrolling at the University of Florida, graduating in 2006 with a B.S. in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and a minor in Health Science Education. Upon graduation, John began his fitness career at Equinox and in 2011 relocated to NYC - a childhood dream. The hustle and bustle of the Big Apple made John realize that he wanted to have a greater impact on people’s lives through the pursuit of fitness. With that motivation, he hopes to help people strive for excellence in all areas of their lives.
John’s motto “Do What Moves You,” illustrates our ability to be transformed into movement. If we are willing, we can push our limits and discover how strong we are, both mentally and physically.
John practices what he preaches by always challenging himself by participating in marathons, triathlons, and yoga.

VINYASA YOGA
Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses linked together to create a seamless flow synchronized with breath. This class is diverse, and sequencing of moves vary with a vigorous and athletic approach to the practice.

Provide workshops to corporations interested in how they could build fitness into their lives. We would address the benefits of a safe program and how fitness has many positive affects not only in their work life but their personal life as well.
